Pastries in the Park

What a lovely weekend we had! Friday was bittersweet, as it was my last day as a professional upholsterer.  I honestly loved learning the trade and being around all the gorgeous fabric we used! Dusty and I went out afterward with a few of our coworkers to celebrate. We even ventured all the way to West Philly for dinner and had our maiden trolley voyage. Saturday while Dusty was at work I took gristle for a check up at the vets and then we went for a hike at Wissahickon Park. The weather was absolute perfection. I was feeling inspired by the time we got home and whipped up a yummy dinner.

Today, we made biscuits and chipped beef gravy!!! One of my favorites! Then we walked around the city and did a few "first day of work" errands. I picked up some Bare Minerals foundation that I'm super pumped about and a new red lipstick. I'm actually kind of freaking out about tomorrow and hope it gives me a little boost in my confidence! Then we picked up some treats and ate them in the park. Came home ate another fabulous meal and did laundry. Sigh. :)
