I've been needing a little downward facing dog in my life for awhile now. I don't know why it's been so hard to go sign up for a yoga class but I've been talking about it and putting it off for almost a year now. I guess out of sheer laziness or reluctance to add yet another activity to my already jam-packed schedule. Or maybe I was feel self-conscious about looking like a clumsy freak in class. Luckily, there is a little studio across the street from our place, so last night after I parked the car, (in under 20 mins. no less!) I stopped in to see what their schedule looked like. It must have been fate because it was the first night of a 4 week beginner class! As I walked back across the street to change, I was grinning like an idiot. Seriously. I'm SO EXCITED to be getting back into some kind of workout routine! The class was amazing and I'm so looking forward to next week. I'm also looking forward to a new, hopefully- rejuvenated, peaceful me.. at least that's how I imagine I'll be after all the yoga and eating well. Guess I'll be trading my typical late-night Thursdays at work for Saturdays, I think it will be worth it!
