Umm, hello my name is Heather and I'm addicted to fabric....

That's it- I am not allowed to enter another fabric store or purchase fabric from online until I start making a serious dent in my stock pile! Of course when I found out that we were moving to Vermont I immediately googled nearby fabric stores. I stumbled upon Nido in Burlington- and guess what? Their shop is as rad as there website!!! I hope I didn't scare the owner with my enthusiasm  but after two trips to the local JoAnn's I was super stoked to find an alternative. And let me just say that I wanted to buy EVERYTHING!!! This shop is a must-see if you're in the Burlington area! They even have classes that are super affordable. I definitely want to take one this fall. They're hiring for instructors and I'd love to do it but it scares me a little... I know I could come up with a pattern and lesson plan- with measurements- (I know, I know).. haha. Something to think about. Check out my purchases- I am in LOVE with everything- even the bag it came in! The only downside to the entire trip is that I have to part with the fabric to wash it and that I can't start using it immediately :)

  2. Totally awesome Heather. Glad you found a good fabric shop in Burlington! Am pumped about your future class you'll take (and maybe even teach? who needs measurements anyway??!). Cannot wait to see the bags you make with the new fabric!

  3. Ooooo. So nice! There are a few fabric shops in Edinburgh, but none of them are super awesome. Probably better that way, or else I'd be spending loads of money.
